Welcome to Neighbili. These terms are a plain-English agreement between you and Neighbili about how the platform works. By creating an account you agree to them.
1. Who can use Neighbili
You must be at least 16 years old and a real person. One account per person. You confirm the information you give us — your name, neighbourhood, selfie and location — is truthful.
2. What Neighbili is, and is not
Neighbili is a place for neighbours to ask for help, offer help, share things and meet up. It is not a marketplace, a courier service, a dating app, a job board, or a place to advertise a business. We don't verify professional qualifications and we are not a party to any arrangement you make with another neighbour.
3. Your conduct
By using Neighbili you agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, intimidate or discriminate against anyone.
- Post anything illegal, sexual, violent, hateful, or impersonating someone else.
- Use the platform for commercial spam, scams, MLM, political campaigning or unsolicited promotion.
- Share another person's private information (address, phone, photos) without their consent.
- Try to bypass the verification system, scrape data, or build automation against the platform.
See also our Community Guidelines.
4. Your responsibility for interactions
You meet, message and transact with other neighbours at your own risk. Neighbili does background checks where local law allows, but cannot guarantee anyone's identity, intent or safety. Use your judgment. Meet in public the first time. Don't hand over money or keys to someone you've never met.
5. Content you post
You keep ownership of what you post. You give Neighbili a limited licence to display it to the people it's meant for (your neighbourhood). We can remove anything that breaks these terms, without notice.
6. Account suspension
We can suspend or close any account that breaks these terms, gets repeatedly reported, or behaves in a way that puts other neighbours at risk. We don't have to explain our reasoning publicly.
7. Liability
Neighbili is provided "as is". We do our best to keep it secure and available, but we don't warrant uninterrupted service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform or your interactions with other users.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. We'll let you know in-app when something material changes. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
